A 60-year-old woman walked into the salon, curious to see if I could do anything to improve her hair.
THE PROBLEM
As you can see in the before photo, her hair looked dry, frizzy, brassy, and dull. Grey roots were showing, particularly around the front. Her hair had been damaged from over-processing. Some of the dryness was also age-related. Each strand felt coarse and lacked elasticity.

AFTER MAGIC SLEEK TREATMENT
THE SOLUTION
After a consultation, I recommended starting with a Magic Sleek Smoothing Treatment to reduce frizz and help repair the hair. The result of that treatment is shown in the middle photo.
I also recommended a tint, without highlights, to cover the grey roots, remove the brassiness, and restore vibrancy to her color. Finally, I suggested adjusting her color routine. Instead of highlights every 6–8 weeks, I recommended alternating with tint-only appointments to help maintain the health of her hair.

As a result her hair looked polished, smooth, fresh, and light. The brassiness, frizz, and dryness were gone. Her hair had shine, movement, depth, and vibrancy.
She was thrilled with the result and said she felt so much better now that her hair was in such good shape.
